Resolutions 2011
1. I’m going to make the leap from home-sewing to HP-sewing. I would love to sew myself a garment or two (I’m thinking an easy shift dress or tunic). I’m looking here, here and here for inspiration.
2. *Really* open my Etsy shop.
3. Apply for an exhibition.
4. Understand my pension and RRSP statements.
5. Consume less sugar.
6. Exercise more.
7. Organize my craft supplies.
8. Go to bed earlier.
I was trying to make it to 10, but this is a good start. Most of all, I know I am so lucky to have this life. I am thankful for true love, family and friends who inspire me, Cedarvale Park, craft blogs, contentment, creativity and imagination. This year, I am happier than I've ever been; I can't wait to see what 2011 brings.
Happy New Year!

City of Craft
It felt like there was real magic in the air for this year's City of Craft, my favourite weekend of the year.
Still uploading some photos from my mum's point and shoot (with usual ill-fated timing, I missplaced my camera in the happy mayhem that led up to this year's show). Thank you to everyone who visited, and to any new readers of this blog; December 18 and 19th - you made my days! (Proper post, to come.)
Press: read more about the City of Crafters, here.

Where To Buy
With recent press coverage, I've been blessed with quite a few retail inquiries about my work. In the new year, you'll find my work in and around Toronto area boutiques, and also available online (via Etsy, of course). But for now, I'm putting all my resources into having a fully stocked City of Craft. See you there!
P.S. Email me at holly.procktor@gmail.com for custom orders. I'll do my best!
Press Coverage
One of my new, handpainted terrariums is featured in this month's issue of Covet Garden - a new online magazine and blog that takes a peek into the homes and lives of some of Toronto's most interesting people. Page 19, my friends. Dream come true!

Update
Hi readers! I'm busily preparing for Toronto's upcoming City of Craft. It's my favourite time of year(though my callused hands may suggest otherwise). This year I'll be back with old favourites (terrariums, terrariums and more terrariums) with a new spin! Did somebody say "handpainted mushrooms?" (!!!) Photos to follow.
